- VicRoads have published a new deadline of June 30th, 2023, for TMA + Smart OBM.
- All HPFV combinations that exceed 68.5t GCM, or semi-trailers that exceed 46t GCM, must have TMA + Smart OBM.

- The QLD deadline for all HML & PBS vehicles to transition from IAP to TMA is the 30th of May 2024.
- You can transition any IAP vehicle now; you do not need to wait.
- You can transition any Interim OBM system to a Smart OBM now; you do not need to wait.
- All new HML or PBS Combinations will require TMA and no longer have the option of IAP.
